I hope that David explained that evolutionary epistemology came straight from Popper who wrote a series of papers on that theme during the 1960s. He sent me offprints of the papers in 1971 and they appeared in the book Objective Knowledge: An Evolutionary Approach soon after.
Thank you for the links, Rafe, especially your articles. I have been rereading Objective Knowledge lately and am greatly enjoying it. Popper wrote so clearly! I also have your book Reason and Imagination, and it's been formative in helping me to understand Popper better. Yes, David often says that he considers much of his work as footnotes to Popper, but I think he is perhaps being overly modest.

Thanks Adil, so pleased you have Reason and Imagination, i cant believe how i managed to get so close to the core of Poppers ideas so quickly:)
